Cameron Bagg (born 1963) is a Canadian paranormal investigator and founder of the Peterborough Haunt Club. He is also known as simply "the ghost guy". Bagg grew up in North York and has a daughter and a son. Bagg began researching haunting in 1988, when he was 23, which is also the year that he claims to have had his first encounter with a spirit.〔 The encounter occurred after he and his wife moved into a supposedly haunted apartment. Bagg claimed to have heard voices calling his name and footsteps in the next room when no one else was in the house.〔 A quick investigation found that an elderly woman had died of a stroke in the apartment's kitchen.〔 Bagg stated that this haunting was "like a wake-up call" and began his investigations into other hauntings soon afterwards.〔 Two years after he began his investigations, he founded the Haunt Club, a Peterborough group who investigate hauntings. Between 1988 and 2008 Bagg claims to have investigated over 100 "valid" hauntings which includes two Toronto-area schools.
